How do you enjoy life? Since the beginning of 2020, our life has drastically changed. If we were told that everyone will be locked in their home, not being able to see a stranger face when they smile at you, local businesses, and school close… we would NOT have believed it.
All these events may have strayed us far from what we really enjoyed in our life.
Take a moment now, and think of how you can really enjoy life.
I’ll give you an example of how I enjoy life!
I enjoy life the most when I have time to create, and that includes making bread. When I was in Africa in the midst of a civil war, what got us going was, the thinking of all the gorgeous recipes we could cook—once ingredients were again available.
Me, my sisters vowed that if we made it, we would cook, and enjoy our food as if it was the last supper!
I remember my big brother (who now have passed away) stuffed to the gills, not being able to reach for his fork that fell underneath the dinner table – at Christmas. Each time I think about this scene I can’t but laugh! What a beautiful memory.
You may be thinking food? Not just food but the most delectable dishes that are made with love, and happiness.
You know, like in some World War 2 French movies if you’ve seen one – I highly recommend “Mais où est donc passée la septième compagnie ?
”. During this epoch, most people who made wine, made sure to keep the best ones away from the invaders, and that included cheese also.
The one thing that is great about incarnated as a human is being able to taste things like food, drinks, and travel around this beautiful planet to admire all the creation God or Source has made.
When I work with clients, we also work on transforming their lifestyle, and finding luxury living into their everyday life.
Now for the big reveal, my bread pictures.
They are made with organic gluten free flour. I sprinkled some sesame seeds at the top, with a tablespoon of olive oil for the nice color!
Sending you love, and kindness.
The bread looks delicious. Thank you for sharing your story. I could picture your brother trying to reach for his fork, to no avail. I remember being that full after a meal in Paris at a Moroccan restaurant. We ate so much that I was in pain. We had to walk for an hour after dinner before returning to the hotel. The food was so good it was absolutely worth it…
One way I enjoy life is by curling up with a good novel. Bliss!
Bonjour Sara,
I love your story in Paris at the Moroccan restaurant! Thank you for sharing the way you enjoy life. A good novel is a nice treat. Be blessed.
